This is where I showcase some of our more interesting events and share my thoughts on some of my favorite things! Thanks for stopping by and I love making new friends- so please drop a line and say hi!
As we finish up wedding season, we move into one of my favorite times of year- engagement season! Fascinatingly, 40% of couples get engaged between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s day. If you are thinking of popping the question soon… it is time to reach out if you need some help planning your engagement proposal in Cleveland!
Designing a proposal set is so intimate and creative. One will want to add memories of time together and personal jokes to the proposal set. We believe that such elements can be incorporated in a classy and sophisticated way. Working with us to plan your special moment allows you to not have to sweat the small stuff, leaving you to work on little things, you know, like the ring 😆
Below are a few things that are important considerations to have a smooth proposal-
The weather at this time of year is not the most pleasant in Cleveland and being that it is popular to pop the question outside, it is important to have a few backup venue options. A proposal we planned was once snowed out and we set it up in my dining room instead!
Another consideration has to be the photography. You need to select a photographer that you will feel comfortable with to memorialize the special moment. Capturing these precious moments of your engagement proposal is truly an art. You need a photographer to go with the flow and not pressure you in any way. We work with excellent photographers to ensure this! As an example, in the proposal gallery below, taken at Squire’s Castle taken by Haley Aldean, when it started to drizzle, Haley whipped out chic umbrellas to take some adorable shots in the rain!
My favorite for last – the FLOWERS! While red roses are the classic… not every girl dreams of a red rose… and not all red roses are alike. Deep reds, such as baccara or black magic heighten the romantic vibes. Red hearts roses are fun and flirty, so it really depends on the tone you want to set! I have had clients choose whites for purity. Others have chosen pink because that is the girl’s favorite color – there is really no “right” answer. The largest bouquet we made was an 100 red rose bouquet. However, a typical proposal bouquet is 36 roses.
Designing a proposal is curating the most personal and special memory for a couple. We offer full proposal curation – from helping one select the venue, to creating/ordering custom signs, creative details, flowers, candles and signature champagne flutes- we just ask you to bring the ring! We offer a full set up and breakdown option starting at $1,000. If you have some eager helping hands, we also offer creation of a full package starting at $600. Everything needed to set up a dreamy proposal is included and dropped off for your helpers to set up. Please reach out if you would like to chat about these engagement proposal services! Your proposal in Cleveland can be easy!
